Penguin Student Design Awards

This is my submission to the The Penguin Random House Student Design Award. I choose the Adult Non-Fiction 'A Short History of Nearly Everything' By Bill Bryson. I looked to Bryson's frequent mentions of Issac Newton for inspiration. I wanted to capture a sense of mystery and wonder in an abstract form which could be both atoms and gravity. Newton's theory of gravity is often seen as the dawn of modern physics and so it seemed appropriate to represent this on the cover of a book yet capturing an essence of the mysteries of the universe.
